Dictionary & Thesaurus with Google Translate App Reviews

Still waiting for it!!!

It is useful but the database is limited compared to full dictionary apps. Sometimes the audio don’t work after IOS upgrade - the developer doesn’t update regularly which is big letdown

Now - NO pronunciation. The button is there but audio is random and sooo infrequent.

Please add Vietnamese to Google search feature. I will be back to give it a perfect 5. Other than that is a great app.

Perfect interface and a good pronunciation feature, along with Google search option (including Korean langage, Thanks!). GOOD!

Great application, of course it speaks when you want to hear the word. Thats the reason I bought it, I am looking forward for speech to improve as the technology does. Great job!

I would give it and change it to 5 stars if following gets fixed: 1) sound ONLY when u wear headphones.. lot of times, i dont have headphones handy 2) LOT of sound files are computer generated. 3) not many actual examples how to use work. Okay def, but usage in sentence helps me a lot and its laking that. I mean it has lot but not as much usage in sentence as i would like. VERY good dictionary tho.. those 3 things would def earn this dictionary 5 stars.

most definately better than any other dictionary/ thesaurus app. the best features about it is the grammar aide, the large variety of synonyms/ antonyms/ adjectives, and the options of changing the font; size etc., and using the Internet. well done. I havent checked, but I hope its an offline app. since there isnt wifi everywhere. surely it could use longer definitions... needs to be more in-depth. :] Thanks.

THIS APP WOULD BE THE BEST IF VOICE SOUND WERE CLEAR. BUT THE SOUNDS ARE TERRIBLE. COULD YOU IMPROVE THE SONDS THEN I WILL GIVE YOU 6 STARS

No sound when using 2.2 firmware.

I updated it two weeks ago,after that update this app is very very slow.Could you fix it?

This app was surprisingly good. I have yet to run in to a word not in the dictionary. The talking to you also works very well. I give this app a four star rating because it does not have the greatest of looks,but for 99 cents come on. It is a great dictionary and well worth the money.

At this price, you cannot go wrong! Great app. Everyone should have this dictionary.

Now this program is updated to 2.0. The interface is really nice and looks great! To tell the truth, I bought other dictionary (A~H~D) at the price of $29.99. That has really ugly interface. its impossible to tap-searching words in the explanation of a word. So now I use the Speaking English dictionary more frequently. I really recommend this!! I guess many people made a complaint on the first version of this app. However, If you use it, you will be satisfied. ---------------- version 1.x If it were $15, I should not buy it. However, it is not just $0.99 now (Dec 22). It contains pronunciations so I can hear the sound. You can use advanced search with wild cards, anagrams, phonetics. Because the dictionary is based on the Wordnet data, so it contains many words with simple definition and synonyms, hypernyms... I recommend this..!

The speach feature didnt work until I synched my 2.2.1 phone applications. Thank you to a previous reviewer for mentioning that. Caused me a lot of frustration.

It is cheap and good

This is a great app! Its different than the regular dictionary and its on your phone, not via the internet. I often need something like this when I dont have internet connection and its worth the $15 to have it when I need it - instead of self-righteously mocking the price...get lives, people!

Does the job. Lots of options. Lots of words definitions. UI Its great. Cant complain.
